What are you doing nowadays?
I am generally drawing, or painting, or printing or drinking.
Tell us a bit about yourself, how would you define Elliot Kruszynski?
I have a tattoo on my arm that says legend in a gravestone.
How would you describe your work/style to someone who hadn’t seen it?
It looks like its both for children and made by one.
As we know you are a member of Punk Collective & Niles Collective. How important is it to be a part of a collective?
Admittedly I haven’t done much with either collectives in a while. Saying that my best friends are in both so hang with them on a daily basis. It’s not imperative to life but it’s good wholesome fun.
What’s the best thing about being an illustrator?
I get paid to draw animals/cars/planes with faces on having a lit time, most days.
Is there a particular brand that you’d love to work for that you haven’t yet?
Still waiting on that Gucci email thinks it’s gonna come by the end of the year.
Can the creativity be learned later, or is it a feeling that is always within the human being?
Creativity is there with everyone I think, it’s just that different people channel it differently.
What five things can’t you live without?
beer. kanye. bed. I’m a humble guy I only need 3 things.
What’s your typical day away from desk and monitor?
No typical day really, just try and see people / do fun things / sit down.
What are your top five songs on your playlist?
Too hard a question but some recent-ish bangers are;
Do you have any websites that you visit daily for inspiration?
No.
Who is your art/illustration hero at the moment?
A lot of the time its Tezuka Osamu.
If you could do any other job what would you choose and why?
Sea otter sanctuary owner. I could watch them hold hands all day.
What brings you joy?
Sea otters I just said.
Tell us something nobody knows about you.
I’m writing the answers to this in my studio and for one reason or another I don’t have underwear on.
